The Department of Microbiology, Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science, Thodupuzha, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a One Day National Seminar on the occasion of International Microorganism Day on 17th September 2025. The seminar was conducted under the theme “Empowering Scholars” with a focus on career development, CSIR-NET preparation, and research methodologies.
The programme commenced with the inaugural session at 9:30 am, in the presence of respected dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
As part of the day’s programme, the prize distribution ceremony of the recently held Life Science Quiz Competition – BioQuest: The Ultimate Life Science Challenge was also conducted. Winners and participants were honoured with certificates and prizes, adding a celebratory dimension to the seminar.
