As a part of curriculum Dept. Of Commerce in association with IQAC organized an extension activity named “SANTHWANAM” a visit to OLD AGE HOME Vridha Vikalanga Sadanam, Pazhukkakulam, Thodupuzha on 03/06/2024 at 10.00 A M.
Objectives of the visit was to create awareness in students for OLD AGE HOME. The visit was informative as a record of 31 students of second year B.com finance and taxation and Co-Operation participated in it. Mr. Jain K Raj and his colleagues gave information about OLD AGE HOME. There were 60 elderly inmates. The students of the department interacted with the elderly followed by an entertainment programme with music, action songs and dance. The inmates were happy and blessed everyone. Later, fruits and snacks were distributed to them.
The programme was carried out under the guidance of Mrs. Anumol T N, Mrs. Shebeena Rafeek and Ms. Amrutha Appu, faculties Dept. of Commerce. The visit concluded with a group photo session with the extension activity.
