This program was organized by the Department of Commerce in association with IQAC & with the support of the Debate Club, Al-Azhar Arts College. The program aimed to enhance students’ analytical thinking, communication skills, and debating abilities.The debate was conducted on Monday, 14th July 2025 at 10.00 am in the Commerce Department (Second Year Classroom). The session began with a welcome speech delivered by Mrs. Rasia P A, Head of the Department of Commerce.The participants actively engaged in the debate on the topic “Twist, Turn, Talk: Zoomba on Trial”, presenting well-structured arguments and counterpoints. After an intense and competitive round, the team of Semester 3 B.Com Honours students, led by Azhar Ali and team, emerged as the winners of the debate competition.The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Anumol T N, the coordinator of the program. The debate served as an excellent platform for students to enhance their critical thinking, confidence, and public speaking skills, aligning with the institution’s mission to promote holistic student development.
