In connection with Reading Day (Vayanadinam), the IQAC in association with the Language Club of Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science organized a "Pusthaka Pradarshanasala" (Book Exhibition) and "Book Review Corner" at the College Library Hall. The formal function began with a warm welcome speech by Mrs. Sreedevi A. N., HOD of the Hindi Department. The event was officially inaugurated by Mr. Shammas Basheer, Vice Principal of the college. A unique highlight of the inauguration was the symbolic presentation of the book "Thapomayiyude Achan" to Dr. Thomas Francis by Mr. Shammas Basheer. Following the ceremony, Dr. Thomas Francis delivered an insightful felicitation address, inspiring students to embrace the world of literature. The exhibition offered students an excellent opportunity to explore diverse books, while the review corner allowed them to share their thoughts and reading experiences. The program drew to a successful close with a vote of thanks expressed by Azar Ali. This meaningful initiative effectively fostered a vibrant reading culture across the campus community.
