The Department of Computer Applications, Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science, organised a two-day First-Year Inauguration Programme for the newly admitted students on 22 and 23 July 2026 at the Al-Azhar Dental College Auditorium.
Day 1 – 22 July 2026: The programme included the Presidential Address by Dr. Ferosh M Basheer, Principal, Al-Azhar College of Arts & Science, followed by the Inauguration and Keynote Address by Dr. K. M. Paijas, Executive Director, Al-Azhar Group of Institutions.
Day 2 – 23 July 2026: The programme continued with the Presidential Address by Dr. Ferosh M Basheer, Principal, Al-Azhar College of Arts & Science, followed by the Inauguration and Keynote Address by Mrs. Asiya Salim, Director, Al-Azhar Group of Institutions.
The two-day programme aimed to warmly welcome the first-year students and familiarise them with the academic environment, departmental activities and opportunities available to them, marking an inspiring beginning to their journey towards learning, growth and excellence.
