ADD ON COURSE ON ROBOTICS

AWARD OF CERTIFICATES OF MERITS

The students who have successfully completed the Add on Course in Robotics are being awarded with their CERTIFICATES OF MERITS by Adv.KM Mijas, the Managing Director, Al-Azhar Group of Institutions.

PG Department of Physics, Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science, Thodupuzha conducted an add-on course on Robotics from 23rd to 29th May 2022. This was a 36 hours program. The topics included sessions and projects on Arduino and programming in embedded C, Street Light with LDR and Relay Module, Traffic Signal using LDR, Smart Electronic Voting Machine, Soil Moisture Sensor with LCD, Flame Sensor with Buzzer, Flux Sensor, Temperature Sensor and LCD Display, Visitor Counter, Smoke Fighter, Arduino Car with Joystick, Controlling Servo Motor with Potentiometre etc. Course was conducted and assessed by "DCS Robotics" a STED Council accredited organization (An autonomous body recognized by Govt. of National Capital Territory , Delhi). Award of Certification of Merit ceremony was held on 3rd June 2022. The meeting was presided by Dr. Sasidharan V, Principal of Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science and inaugurated by Adv. Mijas, Managing director of Al-Azhar group of institutions. The program was coordinated and the welcome speech was delivered by Prof.Aniamma Mathew, HOD of Physics Department. The program was felicitated by Dr. Thomas Francis, Vice Principal, Mrs. Pepsia Kareem, Dean of Student's Services, and Mrs. Binitha V.M, Secretary, College Staff Council. Mr. P.Udaykumar, Program Developer, DCS Robotics presented a session on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Swafuva V.S, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics. The program was received with good appreciation from the participants.
