Master of Science in Chemistry is a postgraduate Chemistry course. The science of matter is also addressed by physics, but while physics takes a more general and fundamental approach, chemistry is more specialised, being concerned with the composition, behaviour, structure, and properties of matter, as well as the changes it undergoes during chemical reactions.

Graduation in Chemistry/ Petrochemicals with not less than CCPA of 5.00 out of 10.00 in Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses).

OR

Graduation in Chemistry/ Petrochemicals with not less than CGPA of 2.00 out of 4 in Core Group (Core + Complementary + Open Courses).

OR

Graduation in Chemistry/ Petrochemicals with not less than 50% marks in Part III subjects (Main/Core + subsidiaries/Complementaries).
