COMMEMORATION OF BIRTHDAY OF DR. C.V RAMAN

PG DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

Post Graduate Department of , Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science, Thodupuzha in association with IQAC celebrated 134 th birthday of sir C.V Raman on 10 th November 2021. Dr. Somasekharan B Pillai, Principal of Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science delivered the keynote address. Prof.Aniamma Mathew, HOD of Physics Department gave a talk on the contribution of sir C. V Raman. Mr. Jithin Jayaraj, second year B.Sc. physics student of our college made a PowerPoint presentation on Dr.C.V Raman’s childhood days, education, family, discoveries, awards and achievements. A physics Dumb Charades competition (sci::shh::phi) is conducted on that day. Winners are given certificate of appreciation.
