PUNARJANI - 4-DAY NSS SPECIAL CAMP

The NSS units 093 A & 093 B together conducted a 4 day Special Camp named "Punarjani '' in the College Campus from 30th March till 02nd of April 22. On All days, Camp started with NSS song. On 30th March 2022, Mr. Anish K S, NSS PO did the Welcome Speech. Dr Sasidharan V, Principal Presided over the inaugural session . Mr Sanish George, Chairman, Thodupuzha Municipality inaugurated the 4 day Camp. Dr. Thomas Francis, Dean, IQAC Co-ordinator & HOD of Chemistry Dept and Mrs Binitha V M, Staff Club Secretary and HOD of Management Dept made the felicitations. Ms Nahidha, NSS PO made the Vote of thanks.

On the 2nd Day of the Camp, We went to Edavetty Panchayat. There we cleaned Edavetty Chira and Forest. Before going for cleaning, we conducted an inaugural function in Pranavam Library Hall. All Edavetty Panchayat Authorities gathered there at the inaugural function. Afternoon time, Mr Abdul Samad, Panchayat Secretary addressed the gathering by taking a seminar on "Eradication of Plastic Waste".

On the 3rd Day, a Yoga session by Mr Joseph Varghese, Ex-military Personal was conducted in the Auditorium. All the volunteers enjoyed that session. After that a seminar on Personality Development by Mr Yousuf P M, Ex- Military Personnel was conducted.

On the last day, the morning session had two seminars, "Organic Farming" by Mrs Bincy, Agricultural Officer, Edavetty Panchayat and "Post Covid awareness in allopathy" by Mr Sabu, Health Inspector, Alackode PHC. In the Afternoon Session, Dr Premkumar, Ayush Mantralaya PHC, Kumaramangalam Panchayat, took a class "Regarding Post Covid Syndrome and its treatment in homeopathy". After the Seminar, the closing ceremony of the camp was conducted. Ms Nahidha, PO, ACAS made the Welcome address. Dr Sasidharan V, Principal, ACAS made the Valedictory Speech. During the camp, PO's decided to take 4 students as Volunteers. Camp disbursed with Vote of thanks and National Anthem.
